Do you cover my part of West Virginia?
Start with the city links on this page. We serve homeowners across West Virginia along with Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee, and our coverage reaches well past the bigger towns into the surrounding county roads. If you do not see your community listed, call and give us your address. We will tell you straight whether we can get a truck to you.
My furnace runs but the upstairs never gets warm. What is going on?
That is usually a duct or airflow problem rather than a dead furnace, and it is common in West Virginia farmhouses where ductwork was added decades after the house was built. Long runs, undersized returns and uninsulated duct in a cold crawlspace all cost you heat before it reaches the second floor. Before you call, check that upstairs vents are open and your filter is clean. Then let us measure what is actually arriving at those registers.
How fast can you get out when the AC quits in a heat wave?
Call as early in the day as you can and we will give you a real window, not a vague promise. Hot spells across the region stack up calls quickly, so the honest answer is that same-day air conditioning repair is often possible and sometimes it is next morning. If you have no cooling and someone in the house is elderly or ill, say so when you call so we can weigh that.
What should I have ready before the technician arrives?
Know the brand and rough age of your equipment, whether it runs on propane, natural gas or electric, and what the thermostat is set to versus what the house feels like. Clear a path to the indoor unit and to the outdoor unit. If you have had recent work done or a part replaced, mention it. Small details like a breaker that tripped last week point us at the real fault faster.
I smell gas near my furnace. What do I do?
Get everyone out of the house first. Do not flip switches or use anything that sparks. From outside, call 911 or your gas utility and let them shut it down and clear the property. Once they say the building is safe, call us and we will inspect the furnace, the connections and the venting before anything is relit. The same applies if a carbon monoxide alarm sounds.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill in the quote form and describe what changed. Warm air, no air, a smell, a noise, a breaker that keeps tripping. That detail tells us what parts to bring along.
- Step 2
We diagnose on site
We check the thermostat, the electrical side, airflow and the equipment itself before we quote anything. If the problem sits in the ductwork rather than the unit, we say so plainly.
- Step 3
We repair and explain
Most air conditioning repair and heating repair work finishes in one visit. We show you the failed part, explain what caused it, and tell you what to watch for next season.

Why homeowners call us
- Propane and dual fuelPlenty of homes in our service area run propane heat or a dual fuel setup with a heat pump. We know how those systems switch over and why a bad changeover setting can leave you cold and burning fuel.
- Older houses, added ductworkFarmhouses often got ducts decades after they were built, run through crawl spaces and attics. When the equipment tests fine but rooms still fight each other, we look at the duct runs and static pressure.
- Repair before replacementA failed capacitor, a cracked wire, a clogged drain or a bad control board is a repair, not a new system. We tell you when the equipment is genuinely finished and when it is not.
- Plain talk on the phoneWe ask what the thermostat reads, whether the outdoor unit is spinning, and when it last worked normally. That two minute conversation often shortens the visit and keeps the repair cost down.
- All major brands, gas & electricCarrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York and more, as an independent company.
- Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
